Editing Services
Could you use some assistance with a piece of writing? I love helping people achieve their goals for their writing, and I’d be happy to work with you on either a book-length project or something shorter.
About me
My name is Katie Haegele, and I’m a founding member of Consonant Collective. In addition to writing professionally for over 20 years now, I have also worked as an editor in a variety of professional environments. I have previously worked as a section editor for both a business trade magazine and an alternative weekly newspaper. As a reviewer for Study.com, I edited dozens of lessons on a wide range of topics, from architecture to early childhood education.
These days I edit manuscripts for publishing houses (including Microcosm Publishing), which means I work with an author from the development stage of their book through to final copyedits and layout. I also edit the text of every release Consonant puts out, and I am a reader for the flash creative nonfiction section of Hippocampus, a literary magazine.
I hold a Certificate in Editing from Temple University.
