While we spend a lot of time making our own records, we’re also interested in helping others make records that are affordable and attainable, without needing to be made in large quantities. We use two medium-fi machines, a Presto 6D and a Rek-O-Kut Challenger to make our records. They create records one at a time, using sapphire styli to emboss grooves into the discs in real time. These records won’t be ultra hi-fi: they’re cut in mono, will have ~90-95% fidelity of a pressed record, and will have some surface noise, but they're fucking cool and sound warm and inviting, like the best old records do.

Quick note tho: Cutting records takes a lot of time, and it’s lower on our list of priorities than our own work. If we can’t fit you in, we’ll be happy to recommend other cutters who do this full time!
