The Consonant Collective will lead a class of poetry students through the process of putting their own recordings onto vinyl records using a refurbished ~1947 Rek-O-Kut Challenger record maker. We will first talk about the science behind vinyl records, from audio recording to vinyl pressing, and then each student will record their poetry to a 7” disc.
