Consonant Collective is partnering with MovieJawn to celebrate the release of both the magazine’s fall issue and Joe’s new book! Come hang out with us at Monster Vegan, mingle with your fellow film nerds at the mixer, and stay for a free screening of cult classic, Phantom of The Paradise (1974).

At the event you will be able to buy a copy of MovieJawn’s Fall 2025 issue and the limited-run vinyl record, cut by Consonant Collective and featuring the music of lauren.napier and Draculelvis & The Jailbird Joeys, that accompanies it, as well as Joe’s new book, Queer Horror: Fun and Freaky Perspectives on Macabre Media!

The mixer starts at noon and the film screens at 1:30. The event is free and you don’t need a ticket to enter the restaurant, but to watch the film you do need to register on EventBrite. We’ll be at Monster Vegan hanging out and selling merch until 4:30.
